Teen killed, three others wounded in shooting at park

A 17-year-old boy was killed and three others were wounded in a shooting Monday night in the South Deering neighborhood.
The teen, a man and two women were standing in a park in the 2100 block of East 96th at 10:18 p.m. when someone shot at them, according to police.
The teen was shot in the neck and transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition.
He was identified as Alixi Johnson of the 9600 block of South Merrill Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. He was pronounced dead at 11:01 p.m.
A woman, 24, was shot in the abdomen and taken to Stroger Hospital, while a 30-year-old woman was shot in the leg and taken to Christ, officials said.
A man, 21, was shot in the left leg and was also taken to Stroger.
The four were among six people shot in a 15 minute period in two areas of the city.
Two people, including a 13-year-old boy, were shot in the South Side Chicago Lawn neighborhood Monday night.
The boy was shot in the left thigh in the 7200 block of South Artesian at about 10:03 p.m., according to police. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition.
An 18-year-old man was shot twice in the back and once in the right foot, according to police. This victim was taken to Holy Cross Hospital.
