A woman was killed and at least three people were wounded in shootings during a 90 minute period Friday night, police said.
About 7 p.m., the woman was fatally shot in the shoulder in Humboldt Park, authorities said. The woman, believed to be in her 20s, was shot in the 1100 block of North Pulaski and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she later died, authorities said.
In another shooting, two men were wounded while sitting on a porch around 7:15 p.m. in the 7800 block of South Merrill, police said. A 19-year-old man in the ankle and a 20-year-old man in the knee by two suspects in the South Chicago neighborhood. Both men were taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital.
About 5:30 p.m., another man was shot in the 6700 block of South Bell in Englewood, police said. The man was sitting in his car when he was shot in the hip, police said. Jordan Owen
