Naperville woman formally indicted in stabbing death of son, girl she was babysitting
A Naperville woman has been formally indicted on murders charges for allegedly stabbing her 7-year-old son and a 5-year-old girl she was babysitting.
A DuPage County grand jury on Thursday returned a 10-count murder indictment against Elzbieta Plackowska stemming from the Oct. 30 slayings of her son, Justin, 7; and Olivia Dworakowski, 5.
The 40-year-old Plackowska also was indicted on two counts of animal cruelty for allegedly killing two Dworakowski family dogs, a daschund named Tootsie and a mixed breed named Niki.
Plackowska, who remains jailed, is scheduled next week to enter a plea on the charges.
