A 22-year-old man was shot multiple times in the West Garfield Park neighborhood late Monday.
The man, 22, was shot in the arm and leg in the 4200 block of West Wilcox Street at about 11:40 p.m., according to police News Affairs.
He was walking to his car in an alley when a person walked up and shot him, according to police News Affairs. The man then drove himself to the 3400 block of West Madison Street to get help from police.
The man is listed in stable condition at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, police said.
No one was in custody early Tuesday, and Area North detectives are investigating.
