Man shot, killed in argument on Northwest Side street
A man was shot and killed after arguing with another man on the street Wednesday morning on the Northwest Side.
Robert Snipes, 31, of the 2000 block of North Kostner Avenue, was fatally shot in the 1700 block of North Pulaski Road, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
He shot in the arm and back about 10:30 a.m. and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later died, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.
He was seen arguing with another man who pulled out a gun, shot him, then fled in a tan-colored van, Zala said.
No one is in custody Wednesday afternoon, and Area North detectives are investigating.
