Elegant evening gowns, tailored trousers and crisp summer florals – all courtesy of Neiman Marcus Michigan Avenue – sashayed down the catwalk at Little City’s Runway Exclusive luncheon at the Fairmont Hotel last weekend. Board President Ed Hockfield – whose brother-in-law, Jerry Rose, is a 43-year Little City resident – opened the show with a tongue-in-cheek strut down the runway in a form-fitting Armani suit borrowed from the luxury retailer. The event was co-chaired by Eleni Bousis and the Sun-Times’ Susanna Negovan. After the fashion presentation, Little City Executive Director Shawn Jeffers told more than 250 attendees that the event proved, “You can do good, feel good and, most importantly, look good.”
