Tour new 'hood for free

Rediscover our own city by taking a "neighborhood vacation" this month with the Chicago Greeter program, a free service usually reserved for out-of-town visitors. Local volunteers lead tours of more than 25 Chicago neighborhoods. Reservations are required, or show up for the no-reservations-needed InstaGreeter program, located in the Chicago Cultural Center, Millennium Park and, starting last week, every Saturday at the Hyde Park Art Center; explorechicago.org, (877) 244-2246.
