Gastronomic delights await San Diego visitors

Branson, Mo., celebrates holidays
Highlights of this year’s holiday shows/activities in Branson, Mo., include The “Andy Williams’ Christmas Show,” Nov. 1 - Dec. 8, featuring a tribute to the late entertainer, who performed in the city for decades at his Andy Williams Moon River Theatre. Dozens of holiday-themed shows will be presented in the coming weeks including Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers, along with Debby Boone, at The Mansion Theatre. Tony Orlando’s “Great American Christmas” will be staged at the Welk Resort Theatre. “Christmas in Hollywood,” at The King’s Castle Theater, rings in the season with a musical journey through some of Hollywood’s greatest movie moments. The Starlite Theatre will present “The Bellamy Brothers Tropical Christmas,” and the Jim Stafford Theatre will present “Jim Stafford’s Christmas Show.” Silver Dollar City’s “An Old Time Christmas,” (Nov. 3-Dec. 30) features more than 4 million lights and more than 1,000 decorated Christmas trees.
