North Shore native and fashion designer John O’Donnell (brother to actor Chris) made a name designing his Johnnie-O brand described as “West Coast prep.” He started with polo shirts and expanded into a full lifestyle line. He has A-list fans besides his brother — Brian Urlacher, Pete Sampras and Luke Wilson are only a few. Just 4 Friends, 461 Central Ave. in Highland Park, is home to a Johnnie-O pop-up shop with accessories and children’s apparel through Dec. 31. Call (847) 681-8200 for details.
