No matter what side of the “dressing pets” debate you fall, you have to give Michelle Cleek O’Hollaren some credit. The 33-year-old Bucktown resident turned her love of dressing her pug Penny into a business — which immediately caught on with celebrities such as Tori Spelling and Bethenny Frankel. At SophisticatedPup.com, you can snatch up the looks O’Hollaren created for the two celebrities, or chose from other designs, including dresses, T-shirts, neckties, and even a few costumes (to let your pug’s inner princess ballerina shine).
For Frankel’s dog Cookie, O’Hollaren created the Cherries Flower Collar and Matching Leash Set, $59.99. For Spelling’s pup Mitzi, O’Hollaren handcrafted the very girly Pink Tangerine Tutu Dress Gift Set with Matching Collar and Leash, $79.99.
