Laura Berman: Why I had the Vampire Facial

When I married my husband Sam, he asked me to make him two promises
First, he requested that I refrain from talking about our sex life in public (no easy feat when almost every interviewer wants to know if I practice what I preach in the bedroom!), and second, that I promise to never do Botox or any other anti-aging treatment that would change the look of my face.
Now, as a breast cancer survivor and as woman who is beginning to suffer Botox-envy, I am always on the lookout for anti-aging treatments that will work with my body and that are natural, effective and safe. Imagine my pleasure when I discovered the Vampire Facial, a eerily-named procedure that caught my attention when I saw it on the news.
The Vampire Facial is a procedure that stimulates growth and makes skin look younger and smoother, all without the use of any toxic chemicals or manufactured fillers.
Instead, the Vampire Facial is performed with your own blood (hence the name).
Personally, I loved the experience and my results, and more importantly, I loved knowing that I wasn’t injecting any harmful chemicals into my body. All of which means I get to enjoy anti-aging benefits without breaking my promise to my husband.
