Halloween fun might seem solely the domain of children, but the truth is adults can enjoy their share of tricks and treats too — and beyond the actual holiday.
Here are the best ways you and your partner can make the most of ghouls, goblins and of course, great sex:
Dress up. This is a no-brainer when it comes to Halloween, but it’s time to think beyond the typical nurse or French maid costume.
Are you and your partner big “True Blood” fans? Try out a sexy Sookie Stackhouse or bloodthirsty vampire costume. Superhero fans? Go for a sleek and sexy Catwoman or don a daring Wolverine costume. You can even tap into your inner Anastasia and Christian by going for one of the new “50 shades of Grey” costumes (yes, they exist, and they are quite accurate — and sexy!) The best part is that many of these costumes are so erotic and daring that you might just choose to wear them for your partner’s pleasure alone instead of going to a typical costume party.
Having an intimate and adult night of costumes and candy corn can be just the thing to get you two into a naughty spirit.
Have a scare fest. Thrilling and heart-pumping activities can increase adrenaline and dopamine in your brain, and all those feelings of excitement can mimic the butterflies and intensity you felt when you and your partner first started dating. Create those thrilling feelings by doing something scary and daring with your partner, such as by going to a haunted house or heading to a local fall fair for everything from scary rides to candy apples.
Or, simply curl up in bed and watch some of your favorite scary movies.
Be daring. Remember, Halloween is just as much about tricks as it is treats. Don’t worry, you don’t have to tap into your inner adolescent and smash pumpkins or soap the high school’s windows.
Instead, challenge each other to a sexy dare, whether it’s having sex in a completely daring and wild place (like in the restaurant’s bathroom during your night out) or going commando to a stuffy party. You could even try out a pair of vibrating panties. These sexy undergarments come with a small discreet remote control that allow your partner to stimulate you from across the room — how’s that for tricky?
Cook up some mischief. Halloween wouldn’t be complete without decadent sweets. Get busy in the kitchen together by making retro fare like Rice Krispie treats or by enjoying a favorite seasonal goodie such as pumpkin fudge.
And good news for you chocolate fiends out there! Italian researchers found that women who ate chocolate on a daily basis had higher libidos than those who didn’t. They also found that chocolate-fed women had better sexual arousal and more sexual satisfaction. Who knew that fun-sized candy bars could yield such a reward? Take your relationship to the next level by trick or treating your way all the way to better sex!
