Could this be love, or is it just infatuation?

Updated: July 7, 2012 8:00AM

Q . I’m in a relationship with a great guy. We’ve been together almost five years, but I’ve never felt an intimate chemistry with him, more of a dear friendship. His birthday is Feb. 15, 1985, at 9:12 a.m.

Recently I ran into someone I’d had very strong feelings for in the past, and he’s expressed feelings for me. This former flame and I never really got a chance to explore a relationship, but the chemistry is much stronger, at least on my end. His birthday is April 6, 1982, at 11:30 a.m.

Is this blast from the past a fleeting infatuation or is my current relationship, although lackluster, healthier for me? I was born on May 5, 1985, at 3:45 p.m.

A. Both comparisons are pretty good; however, there is sorrow in the comparison with your current boyfriend that is likely to lead to a breakup. I’m actually surprised that you didn’t leave him last fall.

Yes, you are seeing the grass as being greener elsewhere, but your physical connection with your Aquarius man appears to be better than with your ex, the Aries. Looking at your chart, I believe you will follow your heart and pursue your Aries, as it’s his sign that falls in an area of your chart that deals with relationships, while your Aquarius sits in an area that deals with socializing and friendship.

Q. On Dec. 10, 2011, I had the shock of my life — I found my dear mother dead in bed. (Her birthday was June 27, 1932.)

The coroner told me that she went to sleep and never woke up. We were exceptionally close, and I moved back to her house — where I grew up — to care for her in recent years. Now my siblings and I must settle her estate and sell her house.

I am interested in starting a home-based business. I need to buy a home and get started. Are things favorable to do this? I was born March 28, 1958, at 7:22 p.m.

A. The best astrological transits you have to get things moving will begin the first half of June, most of July and the beginning of August as well as December until late March 2013. As you can see, there are plenty of windows of opportunity for you to purchase a home, move and start a business; however, taking the initiative immediately will give you a much better chance to utilize all the favorable investment transits heading your way, so please don’t dawdle.

Q. I was let go from a job in 2010, but was able to complete my degree while unemployed. Now I am off to work in what I have always considered my dream job. I worry because I have 18-year-old twin girls (born July 3, 1993, at 5:25 and 5:26 p.m.), and I will be leaving them at home as my job will take me across the United States. I was born Nov. 23, 1969, at 11:40 p.m.

A. Kudos to you! Going back to school, raising two girls and landing your dream job is pretty spectacular. You have taught your daughters well, and although they will miss you, they are very much like you. They are quite capable of taking care of one another as well as household matters — plus, you’ll be only a phone call away.
