Hail the yard sale! Clean house, make friends! It's summer in the city and yard and garage sales are in full swing, especially on weekends. What could be a more simple solution to the problem of too much stuff around the house than to gather it together and hold a yard or garage sale? Enthusiasts say shoppers can find great deals on used items. Plus, the neighborhood sale is a great way to socialize with neighbors. Lincoln Square neighborhood resident Laura Bernstein recently held a yard sale in the backyard of her eight-unit condominium building.
