ALL SIGNS MOON ALERT: We have the all clear to do business (whether $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The Moon is in Capricorn.

IF DEC. 4 IS YOUR BIRTHDAY: Rapper/entrepreneur Jay-Z (1969) shares your birthday. You are gutsy, energetic and assertive about going after what you want. You have the courage of your convictions and stand by what you believe. You understand human nature and can size up people quickly. You have a wonderful talent for organization. In the next year ,change might take place, perhaps as significant as something that occurred around 2005.

◆ARIES (March 21-April 19): Relations with authority figures are unpredictable. (You will soon discover this.) Bosses, parents, teachers, VIPs and the police might say or do something you least expect. If offended — do not quit your day job. Hold tight. This is just a brief dark cloud on your horizon.

◆TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Travel plans might be canceled, delayed or rescheduled. Similarly, anything related to higher education, publishing, medicine and the law is also subject to sudden changes and surprises. If you are traveling, double-check plans ahead of time. Be smart.

◆GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Make friends with your bank account because financial matters, especially connected with shared property, taxes, debt, inheritances and insurance, might hold a few surprises for you.

◆CANCER (June 21-July 22): Partners and close friends are unpredictable. Someone might demand more space in the relationship. “I gotta be free!” Or someone might say or do something that clearly catches you off-guard. People don’t feel independent, so don’t be needy or suffocating.

◆LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Your work routine will be interrupted by computer crashes, power outages, fire drills, staff shortages, canceled meetings or unexpected visits from UFOs. These are just some possibilities, but you can count on your day taking a detour. Female co-workers might also surprise you. “Boo!”

◆VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Parents take note: This is an accident-prone day for your children so be extra-vigilant. All Virgos might see changes to social plans, including sports events. Romantic partners might be rebellious and unpredictable. Fortunately, these are mild influences but they are there.

◆LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Small appliances might break down at home or minor breakages could occur. These are just some examples of things that will make your home routine go sideways. Perhaps someone unexpected will knock on your door or end up sitting at your kitchen table. Stock the fridge so you are prepared for the unforeseen.

◆SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Pay attention to everything you say and do, because this is a mildly accident-prone day for your sign. This applies to verbal accidents as well as physical ones. Think before you speak and don’t just shoot from the hip.

◆SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Keep an eye on your money and possessions and guard them against loss or theft. You might find money; you might lose money. If shopping, keep your receipts and count your change. Things are just a little loosey-goosey when it comes to your assets.

◆CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You might be inclined to jump to conclusions or be hasty because the Moon is in your sign at odds with unpredictable Uranus. Certainly, you want to feel free to do your own thing and you crave excitement. That’s fine.

◆AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): This is a restless day for you because you want to have a little action. You want some adventure or at least something interesting to happen. You might have to resort to Walter Mitty daydreams. Who knows? Nevertheless, an unexpected surprise might make your day.

◆PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Classes, meetings and groups might be canceled or suffer from upsets. In fact, a female companion might do something that surprises you. Perhaps input or feedback from this female acquaintance might make you reconsider some plans or goals. “You heard they had bedbugs? That’s it — I am so canceling.”
