Georgia Nicols horoscopes for July 30

Updated: August 11, 2013 8:59PM

ALL SIGNS MOON ALERT: After 10:45 a.m., avoid shopping or making important decisions for the rest of the day. The Moon is in Taurus.

ARIES (March 21-April 19): Look for ways to introduce improvements where you work. You might see how to make your workplace look more attractive. You might also feel a deep affection for a coworker. In fact, a work-related romance will begin. (Hot and passionate!)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): This is a passionate, romantic day. New romance might begin; others will rekindle something stale. (Relationships constantly change. They get exciting, they get boring; they get exciting, they get boring.) We are all such fickle creatures.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): You might have great ideas about how to improve where you live, especially by making it function or look better. You might also realize how much you appreciate a family member, more than you had guessed. (Easy to take family for granted.)

CANCER (June 21-July 22): When it comes to talking to others, you’re in the zone. This means you can persuade others to do your bidding! An excellent influence for those of you who sell, market, teach, write or act for a living. “Now hear this! Now hear this!”

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Two influences exist for you: You might be obsessed about buying something: “I have to have it!” Alternatively, you might see a new way to earn money or boost your current earnings. Hmm, I lied, a third alternative exists: You might see new uses for something you already own.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Relationships with others will be intense and passionate. Naturally, this is an exciting day for lovers. But even friendships can be meaningful. Meanwhile, check yourself out in the mirror. What can you do to improve your appearance or your image?

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Secret love affairs are taking place for many. Perhaps saucy emails shooting back and forth? (Naturally, their source, date, time and recipient are public. Oops.) For others, behind-the-scenes deals will promote your reputation and make you shine!

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Relationships with others, especially new ones, will be intense. Inexplicably, you feel drawn to someone as if by magic. Discussions might produce profound psychological insights. (Or you might learn the details of their love life.) A friend could become a lover.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): People in authority might ask how to make something look more attractive. By all means, respond because they will be impressed. Some of you might strike up a cozy relationship or flirtation with a boss or teacher.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You have strong ideas about what you want to do with respect to travel, higher education, publishing, the media, medicine and the law. You know what you want and you will not be put off. Others might begin a close relationship with someone from another culture or a different country. “Hola!”

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): This is a passionate day, especially for romantic partners. However, you will also feel passionate about many things, including how you handle shared property, debt, inheritances, insurance matters and anything you own jointly with others.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Your emotional relationships with others are intense. You will feel your love for someone very strongly or you will be attracted to them sexually. Possibly, you will attract someone to you who feels this way about you. Nothing is casual today. And you are ripe for romance! (Oh yeah.)

If JULY 30 is Your Birthday: Actor Simon Baker (1969) shares your birthday. Others are attracted to you because you are sensuous and physical. You are confident and ambitious to succeed in whatever path you embrace. You like to be physically active and have lots of energy to give to whatever you do. Above all, you want to excel. Try to make time this year to study or learn something valuable because your rewards will soon follow.
