Georgia Nicols horoscopes for May 25

Updated: June 10, 2013 7:10PM

ALL SIGNS MOON ALERT: We have the all clear to do business and make important decisions. The Moon is in Sagittarius.

ARIES (March 21-April 19): Today is full of exciting possibilities. You might travel somewhere at a last-minute notice. Possibly, travel plans will be canceled or changed. It’s hard to say because everything is erratic and spontaneous. Opportunities to learn are also at hand.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Unexpected gifts, goodies and favors from others might please you today. You might also have a window of opportunity to borrow something or use something that someone else owns. An unexpected sexual escapade might also materialize. (Oh my.)

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Everyone is craving emotional excitement today. People want a change. You can feel it in the air and this is why your relationships with others will be a bit different. However, someone might cancel or jam out on something. Double-check all your plans.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): Situations that are work-related are full of surprises. Computer crashes, outages, fire drills, staff shortages and canceled meetings are just a few reasons your day could go south in a New York minute. Something related to health might surprise you.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Parents should be extra vigilant because this could be an accident-prone day for your kids. However, for most Leos, today will be full of unexpected invitations and impromptu social occasions. It’s an entertaining day full of promising possibilities and detours.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Your home routine will be interrupted today. Small appliances might break down or minor breakages could occur. Someone unexpected could knock on your door. Or you might spontaneously throw a party or a party might just “happen.” Be prepared and stock the fridge. At least get olives.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): You might be in different surroundings for some reason. You might also meet new people in new situations. You’re sure to learn new things, which might even be surprising because today is full of unpredictable, exciting events.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Keep an eye on your cash flow because you might find money or you might lose money. Guard your possessions against loss or theft. Make friends with your bank account so you know what is happening. Expect the unexpected.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Today will not unfold as expected. Therefore, stay light on your feet. On the upside, you could have fun meeting new people from different backgrounds who have a lot to teach you. However, other impulsive events might unfold. Hard to say.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You feel restless today. Part of you is craving some kind of excitement and another part of you is almost fearfully waiting for the other shoe to drop. It’s just that there is a lot of disturbance in the air because people are impulsive.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): You might meet a female companion who is unusual and unorthodox in some way. Or perhaps something you already know will do something that surprises you. All group situations (small or large) will hold a few surprises.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Relations with authority figures — parents, bosses, teachers, VIPs and the police — will be unexpected and surprising. Guard against knee-jerk reactions to what someone might tell you. Don’t quit your day job.

If MAY 25 is Your Birthday: Novelist (Bourne series) Robert Ludlum (1927-2001) shares your birthday today. You are resourceful and adaptable. If one thing doesn’t work, you’ll try another until you succeed. You will always fight for what you want. Even though you are aware of trends in society, personally, you have your own code of conduct because you value your individuality. In the year ahead, something you’ve been involved with for about nine years will end or diminish to create room for something new.
