Georgia Nicols horoscopes for April 19x

Updated: May 5, 2013 8:27PM

ALL SIGNS MOON ALERT: Avoid shopping or making important decisions after 4 p.m. The Moon is in Leo.

ARIES (March 21-April 19): Your next six weeks are focused on money, earnings and cash flow. You might look for a new job or ways to boost your income. Others will contemplate a major purchase. When it comes to important financial decisions, stay in touch with the Moon Alert.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Today the Sun moves into your sign for the next month giving you a chance to recharge your batteries for the rest of the year. This is fortunate for you because it will also attract people and favorable circumstances your way. Make hay while the Sun shines!

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Because your birthday is approaching, your personal year is ending. That’s why the next month is a great opportunity to think about what you want your new year (birthday to birthday) to be all about. How do you want it to be different from last year?

CANCER (June 21-July 22): The next six weeks will be unusually popular. Accept all invitations and enjoy schmoozing. Join clubs, classes, groups and associations. Friendships will be warm and cozy; in fact, a friend could become a lover. Share your hopes with others.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): This is the only time all year when the Sun is at high noon in your chart acting like a spotlight on you. This is why others notice you more, especially bosses, parents and VIPs. Do take note: This lighting is flattering! That’s why everyone thinks you’re the cat’s meow. (Which, of course, you are.)

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Grab every opportunity during the next month to travel and expand your horizons. You’re keen to discover adventure and learn new things. You might be more involved with publishing, the media, medicine and the law.

◆LIBRA (SEPT. 23-OCT. 22): An intense six weeks awaits you. Not only will you feel sexually intense (was that a purr I heard?), you will also be seriously focused on shared property, debt, taxes, inheritances and such. Gifts and goodies might come your way now. (Saved!)

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): For the next four weeks, the Sun will be opposite your sign, which means it is as far away from you as it gets all year. Since the Sun is your source of energy, you will need more sleep. Respect this need — get some shut-eye.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): You’re gung ho to get better organized in the next month. Suddenly, you want to be efficient, effective and productive — dare we say perfect? (We did.) Not only are you busting your buns to get better organized, you want to improve your health. “I want it all!”

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): The month ahead is delightfully promising. Romance, love affairs, vacations, movies, sports events, the theater and the performing arts all beckon to you. In a word — you want to have fun! Grab every opportunity to do anything that’s pleasurable and entertaining. (New love is possible.)

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Home, family and domestic matters are getting top billing from you in the month ahead. You might be involved more than usual with a parent. Some of you are also keen to redecorate and tweak your digs. Family discussions will go well.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Your pace will accelerate in the next six weeks with short trips, appointments, errands, increased reading and writing and discussions with everyone. Just accept this. You’re on the go, so this is not the time to cocoon at home. Get out of the crib.

If APRIL 19 is Your Birthday: Actress Kate Hudson (1979) shares your birthday today. Because you work hard, it’s important for you to see tangible results for your labor. You are disciplined and willing to practice what you want to learn, and you’re attracted to powerful people and ideas. In your 30s and 40s, you are more curious and eager to travel. In your year ahead, your primary focus will be on partnerships and close friendships.
