Georgia Nicols horoscopes for April 15

Updated: May 5, 2013 8:26PM

ALL SIGNS MOON ALERT: Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 2:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. After that the Moon moves from Gemini into Cancer.

◆ARIES (March 21-April 19): This is a freewheeling day, but you might feel a bit scattered because your mind is jumping from subject to subject. Nevertheless, you’re upbeat and positive. Check the Moon Alert before agreeing to anything important.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): You might do behind-the-scenes financial planning today. It’s a positive day. However, when it comes to important money decisions or spending money, check with the Moon Alert. Please note: You have very creative ideas about making money.

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20): This is a great day for you because the Moon is in your sign making lovely aspects to fiery Mars and the Sun. You feel energized, bright, clever and ready for action. The only thing to be aware of is the Moon Alert. “Saddle up and lock and load.”

CANCER (June 21-July 22): You might prefer to work behind the scenes or alone today because you could use a breather. A lot of planets are at the top of your chart now calling attention to you. In one way, because your ambition is aroused, you don’t mind.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): This is great day to schmooze with others, especially female friends. Get together for relaxing moments — perhaps a long lunch —to swap stories and share your goals. Tell others what you hope to achieve because their feedback will help you.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Personal details about your private life might come out today, especially with respect to bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs. (You might want to do a little damage control.) If you play your cards right, someone will help you or be generous to you in some way.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Do something different today because you want a little adventure. You feel restless. You also want to learn something new. For starters, you can travel somewhere or at least go somewhere locally you’ve never been before.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): You have good focus and strong mental energy today to tackle loose ends related to inheritances, taxes, debt and shared property. Use this to your advantage. If you are transferring funds or making important decisions, check with the Moon Alert above.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Be tolerant and cooperative with others today because the Moon is opposite your sign. (It just works that way.) Actually, you’ll enjoy cooperating with others because this is a fun-loving, playful day for you! (Lucky Sagittarians are on vacation.)

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): There’s lots of energy in the air today and you can use it to get better organized. You might want to tweak details at work or at home, or even do something to boost your health and hygiene. Do anything that will improve your life.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): A playful day! You won’t feel like working today. Minor correction: This is a highly creative day, so those of you who work in creative ways will be away at the races. But for most people, you want to take a long lunch and book off early so you can have fun.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): You might have excellent ideas about how to make improvements at home today. Furthermore, you’ve got the energy to follow through on your ideas. Conversations with a female relative, especially mom, will be vigorous but important.

If APRIL 15 is Your Birthday: Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) shares your birthday today. You’re intelligent, organized and interested in everything. You’re a great planner and organizer and love to jump into new areas and take over. (But only for the beginning stages.) You need a changing landscape that allows you to constantly grow and improvise. Make time in your coming year to study or learn something valuable — you’ll be glad you did.
