Georgia Nicols horoscopes for April 8

Updated: May 9, 2013 6:16AM

ALL SIGNS MOON ALERT: Not until 2:15 p.m. today do we have the “all clear” to do business and make important decisions. That is when the Moon moves from Pisces into Aries.

◆Aries (March 21-April 19): Today and tomorrow are particularly feisty, energetic days for you because five planets are in your sign. (A bit much, don’t you think?) The Sun, the Moon, Venus, Mars and Uranus. This mean you’re bursting with energy and eager to talk to everyone.

◆Taurus (April 20-May 20): You are probably involved in behind-the-scenes activities for some reason. For some, it could be a clandestine love affair. Others might be plotting a revolution, who knows? Enjoy your low profile. Keep it on the down-low.

◆Gemini (May 21-June 20): A heavy hit of planets boosts your popularity. Some of you are physically active with groups, others are busy hanging out with artistic types. All Geminis are enjoying good times with friends because today is schmooze city! (You love it.)

◆Cancer (June 21-July 22): Whoa Nelly! A gaggle of planets is at the top of your chart, which means people notice you now, especially bosses and VIPs. Your ambition is aroused and your schmooze skills are smooth. Romance with a boss or someone in authority might begin.

◆Leo (July 23-Aug. 22): This heavy concentration of planet blesses you and also makes you bored with routine and eager for adventure. If you can’t travel, then travel in your own city. Get out and meet people. Go to places you rarely visit or have never been before. Expand your world!

◆Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Continue to reduce debt and clear up details with taxes, inheritances and shared property. This stuff has to be done. Meanwhile, back in the boudoir, things are affectionate and saucy! Suddenly you have wonderful diary fodder — but who has time to write?

◆Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Your focus on partnerships and close friendships intensifies now. In one way, Mars stirs the pot and makes you irritated with others. Then in the next moment, Venus softens everything, improving existing relationships and attracting new ones. (It ain’t boring.)

◆Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Your hard work is paying off and you are feeling successful in your job, no? You’ve been delegating and hustling your buns and, at the same time, others are wonderfully supportive and helpful now. In fact, a work-related romance might begin. Who knew?

◆Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): This is a wonderful, playful day full of creative possibilities and fun-loving opportunities. Enjoy sports, vacations, social diversions, parties, schmoozing and fun times with children. Give your creative expression free rein!

◆Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You’ll enjoy entertaining at home today. Conversations with family members, especially parents will be lively but supportive. Mars will stir up some controversy and dissonance but Venus will quickly smooth things, especially with good food and drink.

◆Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): You have such a busy mind today! This is why you’ll enjoy writing, reading or talking to anyone. In fact, you feel you need to enlighten others about something. At least, you want to share your ideas. Enjoy the company of siblings, relatives and neighbors.

◆Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20): Money, money, money. That’s where your focus is. You’re thinking about new jobs, new ways of boosting your earnings and ways of improving your existing job. You’re also making some lovely purchases, which are exciting. Keep in mind that this is a great year for real estate for you.

If APRIL 8 is Your Birthday: Actress Robin Wright (1966) shares your birthday today. You are an idealist with strong ethics. Naturally, you have a social conscience and your line of work often reflects this. Although you are often in the limelight, you do not seek this. The welfare of others is your highest concern, which is why you advocate social reform. In the year ahead, an important decision might arise. Choose wisely.
