Georgia Nicols horoscopes for March 19

Updated: March 20, 2013 7:14PM

ALL SIGNS MOON ALERT: Avoid shopping or doing business from 9:15 until 11:15 a.m. today. After that the Moon moves from Gemini into Cancer.

◆ARIES (March 21-April 19): The month ahead is your chance to recharge your batteries for the rest of the year. How wonderful! Use this time to benefit you. With your ruler Mars in your sign as well, you will be stoked with energy. This is your chance to show the world what you can do!

◆TAURUS (April 20-May 20): As your birthday approaches, your personal year is ending. Therefore, the next few weeks are the perfect time to contemplate what you want your new year to be all about. How do you want it to be different from last year?

◆GEMINI (May 21-June 20): The next six weeks will be very popular for you so go with the flow, accept all invitations. Everyone wants to see your face; you might be in competition with someone as well. Artistic acquaintances will intrigue you. It’s the perfect time to ponder future goals.

◆CANCER (June 21-July 22): This is the only time all year when the Sun will slowly cross the top of your chart, acting like a spotlight. Naturally, others will notice you more and, because this lighting flatters you, you will be asked to take on increased responsibilities. Say yes!

◆LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): In the next month, you will expand your world through travel, further study or both. You don’t want the world to pass you by, which makes you want to reach out and grab a juicy piece of it. Good for you!

◆VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Expect to be more passionate about things in the next six weeks. (Naturally, this includes sex.) But it will also manifest in all your dealings with others. For example, you will vociferously defend what was yours, especially with shared property.

◆LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): For the next four weeks the Sun will be as far away from you as it gets all year and, since the Sun is your source of energy, you will need more sleep. Factoid. Respect this need. It will also help you to be more patient with others. (You’ll need patience.)

◆SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): In the next six weeks, you will get better organized. You’re ready to turn over a new leaf to improve your health, buff your bod and clean up where you live and work. You want it all! (“I’m shooting for perfection.”) Yeah, you’re very black-and-white in your approach to life.

◆SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Lucky Sagittarius! You’re looking at a fun-filled six weeks ahead. Plan for sports events, playful times with children, getaway vacations plus flirtations and romantic interludes. Grab every opportunity to express your creative vibes. You’re on a roll!

◆CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Home renovations, family reunions and intense family discussions (particularly with a parent) will be on the menu at some point in the next six weeks. Redecorating projects will appeal. This is also the time to mend broken fences with family members.

◆AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Fasten your seatbelts because you’re in for a busy six weeks ahead. You’ve got things to do, places to go and people to see. Many of you will take short trips and read and study more than usual. Interaction with neighbors and relatives will stimulate!

◆PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): “Money, money, money, always sunny, in a rich man’s world.” Everything to do with money and your possessions will be a strong focus for you in the next six weeks, which could be why you might even argue about financial matters. Think about how to best use what you already have.

If MARCH 19 is Your Birthday: Actor Bruce Willis (1955) shares your birthday today. You are hard-working, thorough and persistent. In fact, you are dogged about achieving your ends because you’re not a quitter. Nevertheless, despite your strong work ethic, you are surprisingly childlike. You love to explore new territory and discover new things. You will love your year ahead because it is the beginning of a fresh, exciting new cycle. Open any door!
