Georgia Nicols horoscopes for March 14

Updated: March 20, 2013 7:14PM

ALL SIGNS MOON ALERT: After 2:15 p.m. today we have the “all clear” to do business. Then the Moon moves from Aries into Taurus.

◆Aries (March 21-April 19): This is the kind of day where the morning feels different from afternoon. Call it the shifting sands of time. Check the Moon Alert to find out when you can start to make important financial decisions because that will become your focus later in the day.

◆Taurus (April 20-May 20): By the afternoon, the Moon enters your sign, which bolsters your sense of confidence and strength. (See the Moon Alert for timing of this event.) After this takes place, ask the universe for a favor — it might be granted to you. Yes!

◆Gemini (May 21-June 20): A confidential conversation with a female acquaintance is likely this morning. Later in the day, you might want to work alone or behind the scenes because you feel the need for privacy, peace and quiet. After all, you’ve been in the public eye so much lately.

◆Cancer (June 21-July 22): Your desire to travel and “get away from all this” continues. This morning, details about your private life might suddenly be public. (Be aware of this.) As the day wears on, you feel increasingly social and eager to schmooze with others. Yada yada yada.

◆Leo (July 23-Aug. 22): There is an otherworldly element to your morning because you’re concerned with lofty ideas, travel concerns and possibly religion and politics. Later in the day, exchanges with VIPs, bosses and people in authority will be interesting and quite personal as well. (Don’t spill the beans.)

◆Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): You’re focused on partnerships and your sex drive is high now. (Don’t tell mom.) Although you’re taking care of red-tape details with taxes, debt and paperwork this morning, by afternoon you need a change of scenery. Blow town if you can.

◆Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): With Mars opposite your sign now, you need to be patient with others. (Some people are so easily annoying.) Later today is a good time to check banking details and arrangements regarding debt, shared property, insurance matters and inheritances.

◆Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Many playful options continue to entertain you. (Romance is not the least of them.) Nevertheless, you’re keen to be productive and get as much done as possible. Later in the day, discussions with partners and close friends will be significant.

◆Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Home decorating and entertaining continue to be a priority for you. You feel playful and flirtatious. Nevertheless, later in the day, you’re keen to accomplish as much as possible. You might focus on health issues. You want to feel like you’re on top of your game and be the best you can be.

◆Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Busy you! Because you need to catch your breath, you might hide at home this morning or be involved in family business, especially with female relatives. By afternoon it’s time to play, flirt, focus on sports, show business and the hospitality industry.

◆Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Despite your strong focus on cash flow, finances and earnings, this morning you’re indecisive, which is why you should do nothing. Don’t spend money; avoid important decisions. By afternoon, family matters and discussions about real estate look solid.

◆Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20): Be careful. This morning you might be focused on financial matters and cash flow and this is a poor time to make important decisions. It’s also a poor time to spend money on anything other than personal food. By afternoon, it’s all systems go. (Check with the Moon Alert about this.)

If March 14 is Your Birthday: Actor Michael Caine (1933) shares your birthday. You’re sweet and affectionate, but you’re no fool. You value your independence and take many different avenues to get where you want to go. You’re open, accepting and tolerant. You’re also philosophical and often ponder how things relate to each other in the universe. In the year ahead, a major change might occur, perhaps something as significant as what took place around 2004.
