Capricorn 'tests' lady charmer's ways

THE LAST WORD | Chart shows deception, but Mr. Right could arrive next year

November 5, 2009

I have been casually dating a man born Oct. 5, 1974. In his job, he is constantly meeting women. I like him a lot and feel that he likes me. I have tested him in my own little ways and he passed. Can you advise if I should take this to the next level? I was born Jan. 10, 1971 at 5:11 a.m.

Capricorn

A. Let's just say the comparison does show some emotional deception. However, that could very well be on your part (your little tests). He falls in an area of your chart that deals with status and your position in life, so the possibility does exist and he is coming into a period conducive to settling down. So you may be in the right place at the right time for this to work.

Are you sure you want it to work? How will you feel about his being subject to so many women in the future if it has already bothered you enough to test him in the past? I feel you will probably sabotage the relationship with insecurity, jealousy and possessiveness as time goes by.

Your chart indicates that someone special will come into your life next year and perhaps you should be waiting for Mr. Right.

Q. Approximately 20 years ago, I met and fell deeply in love with Joe. He, a Scorpio, born Nov. 3, 1943, broke up with me. I ended up marrying a Capricorn (born Dec. 29, 1943). The Scorpio called, realizing his mistake, but it was too late.

While I did not love the Capricorn, I did grow to love him. The Scorpio kept writing me every Christmas. One day I invited him into our home, to encourage him to move on -- and he did.

Five years ago, my Capricorn left me for a friend who had a six-figure income. I never saw it coming. The person he left me for is not very attractive and doesn't have many social graces. Will I find happiness? I was born March 21, 1947 at 12:40.

Aries

A. You are a woman who has been lucky enough to meet two men with whom you are very compatible -- and you managed to come out alone. Your Capricorn, I admit, was probably best kept as a friend and you should have forgiven and married your Scorpio. Funny how one poor decision can take us down the wrong path.

Regardless of what's happened, living in the past is a waste of time and, for you, love is within reach right now. What's more, it is a time that someone from your past is probably still thinking about what could have been.

Call your Scorpio and find out how he is. If you do not get a positive response, get involved in a volunteer group where you will meet someone special.

Q. There are lots of horoscopes. How do I know which one to follow? I like your column but have wondered why there is discrepancy among writers.

Life has been somewhat difficult, mainly financially and medically. Will life ever get easier for me?

Leo

A. An astrological chart consists of all 12 signs. If you know what sign represents your personal, professional, financial, physical, mental, emotional areas of life, you can read all the signs, getting 12 times the information from a daily column.

There are many reasons that astrologers provide different information. A good astrologer will distill the information and offer what will benefit the reader the most but will still fit in a small amount of space in the newspaper.

Astrology is a mathematical science and an interpretive art. The math is easy -- the art of interpretation comes from within.

You will go through poor diagnosis, therefore, get more than one opinion. The good news is you will land on your feet and be fine. Financially, you are not money-smart and need help budgeting and investing. Sit down with a financial advisor.

You just completed your second Saturn return and realize you need to shake things up. Greater opportunities are coming your way, however, what you do with these prospects will be dependent on the people with whom you surround yourself.
