ALL SIGNS MOON ALERT: Avoid shopping or making important decisions this morning until 2:15 p.m. After that the Moon moves from Gemini into Cancer.

◆ARIES (March 21-April 19): Be patient with family members, especially mom or female relatives. The Full Moon tomorrow is in Cancer and so there is tension building up today. After the Full Moon peaks, a lot of these annoyances will dissipate or even disappear. No kidding.

◆TAURUS (April 20-May 20): It’s easy to be impatient and short with others today. In fact, your impatience could create an accident-prone situation, so be careful. Slow down and take it easy. Pay attention to everything you say and do.

◆GEMINI (May 21-June 20): You might have money angst about cash flow today. Much of this will be because of increasing tension before tomorrow’s Full Moon. But know this: After the Full Moon peaks tomorrow you’ll feel better!

◆CANCER (June 21-July 22): Well, of course, you’re feeling tension building up between you and others today because the Full Moon tomorrow is the only Full Moon in your sign all year. On top of that, the Moon is your ruler.

◆LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): In a vague way, you feel anxious today. Don’t worry about this. This is just a build-up of tension before tomorrow’s Full Moon. However, it’s taking place in a hidden part of your chart, which is why (unless you have a back scratcher) it’s tough to reach.

◆VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Difficulties with females, especially in groups, are likely today. But these are just emotional outbursts of tension. (Actually, it could be tension that is held in with a mean little grimace.) Either way, be tolerant. By tomorrow things look completely different. (Especially if the weather radically changes.)

◆LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): You might find it difficult dealing with parents (especially mom) or any authority figure (especially female). Much of this difficulty is because of the pending Full Moon tomorrow. Your best strategy is to lie in the weeds and say nothing.

◆SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Travel plans might be delayed or canceled. Ditto for plans related to publishing, the media and higher education. Even plans to do with medical and legal matters could go sideways today. Just be patient. And avoid controversial subjects.

◆SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): There’s an element of uncertainty, even anxiety, dealing with the possessions of others today. Or perhaps you strongly disagree with someone whose values are different from yours? Either way, you will not resolve things today. Just accept this.

◆CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Tomorrow the only Full Moon opposite your sign all year is taking place, which means that today a lot of tension is building up ahead of time. Factoid. How will this affect you? It could very easily create tension between you and partners and close friends.

◆AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Tension with co-workers and customers or anything that is job-related will be par for the course today. This is just a small dark cloud on your horizon and it’s passing quickly. By late tomorrow, all this will be forgotten (sort of). Lighten up.

◆PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Parents need to be patient with children because Full Moon tension is building up today (before the actual Full Moon tomorrow). The same advice applies to romantic lovers who might be at each other’s throats because of mutual feelings of annoyance.

IF DECEMBER 27 IS YOUR BIRTHDAY: Actor/digital artist Masi Oka (1974) shares your birthday today. You like to make a contribution. You are generous to others, in part because you are sensitive to their pain. You generally choose a vocation where you feel useful or of service. Many of you develop particular techniques or talents that you use. In the year ahead, something you’ve been involved with for about nine years will diminish or end to make room for something new.
