ALL SIGNS MOON ALERT: Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. today. After that the Moon moves from Aquarius into Pisces.

◆ARIES (March 21-April 19): Group activities are fun and enthusiastic today. However, because you’re enjoying yourself, you might promise more than you can deliver. (Be aware of this.) This impulse will come from the best of motivations but hey, you have to ask yourself if it’s realistic.

◆TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Resist the temptation to impress bosses, parents and VIPs by promising more than you can deliver. Despite feeling genuinely confident about what you can achieve, remember to give yourself some wiggle room. Be smart.

◆GEMINI (May 21-June 20): You’re particularly excited about travel plans and expanding your universe in some way today. Something long wished for might come true. Because you’re caught up in the enthusiasm of the moment, don’t try to reach for too much. Keep it sensible.

◆CANCER (June 21-July 22): Be very careful if you have to divide or share something today because your judgment could be off. You might not have all the facts, or you’re deceived, or you’re so generous that you could shortchange yourself.

◆LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Relations with partners are exciting and enthusiastic today because you have big plans that include travel or doing something different. You feel rich, fortunate and rather worldly.
(Ah, yes, I wonder what the little people are doing?)

◆VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): It’s easy to be generous to co-workers and anyone else involved with any task you set for yourself today. You’re enthusiastic about what you want to achieve and you also feel idealistic about it. Nevertheless, be careful not to count your chickens before they’re barbecued.

◆LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): This is a wonderful, playful, fun-loving day! Enjoy good times with romantic partners, children, and good friends. Take a little vacation if you can. Things seem to be rosier, bigger and better than they actually are but — oh well — everything is an illusion, isn’t it?

◆SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): This is a lovely day to entertain at home. All family gatherings will be upbeat and fun-loving because people are full of big ideas today. Do be realistic with family plans and refrain from making promises that you can’t keep. Nevertheless, it’s fun to dream.

◆SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): You’re full of big ideas and positive thoughts today. Activity and the power of positive thinking are both survival issues for you. Therefore, when you’re active and you’re happy about what’s happening, you’re unbeatable!

◆CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Basically, you’re happy today. It’s that simple. And when your thoughts are positive, everything else that flows from this becomes positive as well. Conversations with siblings, neighbors and relatives will be upbeat — and on it goes. Enjoy your day!

◆AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Be a bit cautious about financial matters today. Although this is a pretty good day for business and commerce, do check with the Moon Alert above. And be aware that things might look rosier than they really are.

◆PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): This is a pleasant day because you feel privately pleased with yourself. You have a warm feeling in your tummy because you’re content with your life right now. You can see that everything at home is starting to unfold very nicely and family relationships are increasingly warm and supportive. “OMG, I’m trapped in a Norman Rockwell painting!”

IF JUNE 9 IS YOUR BIRTHDAY: Actor Johnny Depp (1963) shares your birthday today. In true Gemini fashion, you have two sides. You’re playful, whimsical and prankish, but you’re also stalwart, reliable and rock solid. You’re often childlike and quixotic; nevertheless, you speak your mind! Family is very important to you, especially harmony in the family. A change might take place in the year ahead, perhaps as significant as whatever occurred around 2003.
