Want to eat like “Extreme” contestants? Here’s what Powell recommends:
» Protein: Eggs, protein shakes, chicken, lots of fish
» Carbs: Whole grains, oatmeal, beans, quinoa, amaranth, root vegetables
» Vegetables: Load up on any or all vegetables;
cruciferous variety (broccoli, cauliflower) is a good way to fill up without loads of calories
» Fats: Oil, avocado, nuts (pecans, almonds, walnuts)
» And don’t forget the fish oil, which Powell says,
“is so good for you.”
