Gabrielle Hamilton, the chef at Prune in New York, visits the Publican, 837 W. Fulton, at 6 p.m. March 27 for a dinner and reading from her memoir, Blood, Bones and Butter (Random House, $26); $75. Arts at the Mart
Rick Bayless and Graham Elliot are among the chefs setting up shop in the showroom kitchens of the Merchandise Mart, 222 Merchandise Mart Plaza, from 6 to 9 p.m. March 22 for A Taste of the Arts, a fund-raiser for the Chicago Academy for the Arts; $250.
