Like Pinterest, but hate the hunt?
Keep.com has the solution for fashionistas looking to pull the trigger on emerging designers, the latest “it” bag or a designer’s current collection.
The site points users to trending items in fashion, decor, accessories and design.
Much like that other pinning site, Keep partners with tastemakers to showcase their favorite things. Chicago’s Garmental.com blogger Susanne Kopulus curated a collection with her “keeps” sourced from local boutiques.
“My job is to relate to the public what is accessible in local boutiques,” Kopulos said. “Keep navigates my distinct point of view.”
Where Keep.com differs from Pinterest is the added benefit of immediate purchasing power. Click on an item and users can save it (a keep) for later or purchase it at the online retailer’s site. Shopping nirvana. —Meg Moore
