Da Coach Mike Ditka has teamed up with locally based non-profit Kids Have Hope to host the second annual Dinner with Ditka benefitting the organization, which works to prevent the physical and sexual abuse of children. Who: The former Bears player, coach and ESPN analyst will mingle with 140 guests while listening to the smooth sounds of Sinatra tribute singer John Vincent. WHAT: Guests will indulge in a four-course meal, including the restaurant’s signature Da Pork Chop, an 18- to 20-ounce double cut chop with Michigan sun-dried cherry sauce. A live and silent auction will include Cubs tickets, autographed Ditka memorabilia and signed Blackhawks gear. WHEN: Tuesday, Aug. 28, 6:30 p.m. WHERE: Ditka’s, 100 E.
