Scalability, profit margins and return on investment were the cocktail talk at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship benefit on June 14. More than 300 guests came to the Museum of Contemporary Art for the second annual “Elevating Entrepreneurship” to support the initiative designed to teach business principles to inner-city teens. Chicago finance moguls Joe Mansueto and Michael Sacks (both investors in Sun-Times parent company Wrapports) led a panel discussion, giving their hard-won insights and advice to students and guests. After the discussion, NFTE finalist Ryan Lewis, who presented his lemonade company to the assembled titans, said: “Now the only thing I can’t do is fly. And I’m working on it.”
