Mr. Roarke was nowhere in sight — but Captain Jack Sparrow, Polynesian drummers and a group of hula dancers created plenty of ambience at “Fantasy Island,” a gala held at Navy Pier last weekend. “We look forward to it all year,” said co-chair Erica Goldman, and it’s easy to see why: The fun-filled party included guest giveaways like beach towels and blow-up rafts, and a “Digging for Diamonds” sandbox offered cocktail rings for a $50 donation. Nearly 800 guests raised close to $1 million to benefit the Prentice Women’s Hospital at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Both events sponsored by the Sun-Times
