Shards of broken records must have littered the Four Seasons’ floor after the 24th Clearbrook Shining Star Ball raised more than $1 million for the first time in the organization’s history. Dedicated to providing care, education, and support for children and adults with autism, Down’s syndrome, cerebral palsy and other disabilities, the event honored Michael Ferro Jr., — who owns Sun-Times parent company Wrapports — for his longtime support of the organization. The event benefitted the Clearbrook clinics and their efforts to provide occupational, physical, and speech therapy to the disabled.
