The new Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital raised the roof—both literally and figuratively. Seven hundred of Chicago’s biggest philanthropists – plus host Sarah Jessica Parker and musical performer Harry Connick, Jr. – enjoyed a sneak preview nearly two months before the state-of-the-art building opened. The star-studded event raised $5.2 million.
