Survey said ... they can't recall

On a recent chilly night in the Andersonville neighborhood, we asked shoppers, strollers and some heading to work whether they remembered the best gift Santa set under the tree last year.

"I don't even think I got anything last year. Wait, maybe I did get some long johns."

"I can't think right now. Usually this time of year, I'm thinking about what to get other people."

"I didn't get any gifts. I didn't ask for any gifts, so I didn't get any gifts. To me, this time of year, it's not about gifts, it's about peace. And I asked for peace last year, but didn't get that."
