Dogs and their owners can loosen the leashes and hit the dance floor at the PAWS Chicago’s Animal Magnetism event Friday at Galleria Marchetti.
The fifth annual gala is a pet-friendly event for local pet lovers to connect with their friends and furry loved ones while enjoying a buffet dinner and dancing, said Sarah Ahlberg, PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) spokesperson.
The event also offers: dog buffet dinner, open bar, photographs taken with your pet as well as a live and silent auction.
The party begins at 7 p.m. at the restaurant at 825 W. Erie. Tickets are $125 for humans; $25 for dogs.
Proceeds will benefit PAWS Chicago, a nonprofit no-kill organization. The event is expected to draw about 500 guests, many accompanied by their dogs.
