“Leslie Sansone’s Just Walk: 5 Mega Miles” offers a lot of variety and ways to mix up your workout.
Sansone’s perky and down to earth. She explains in simple terms why you’re doing what you’re doing and reminds what the proper form is for various exercises.
There’s never any break in the action, and Sansone segues seamlessly from move to move so that a user can get in 1 mile of walking per workout. (There are five here.) For newbies, she offers modifications. For someone who’s been working out awhile, she also has a member of her team showing how to ramp it up.
One of the things I like best about Sansone is she reminds watchers to listen to the pace of her feet — and the music — to get that heart rate going. You’ve gotta keep the pace up, and sometimes people forget that.
This offering in Sansone’s massive library of workout DVDs also comes with a toning band that she explains clearly how to use. Your body will feel it after doing the routines with the band. I keep coming back to this DVD on time-strapped days when I need a good arm/upper body workout.
