BLUEBERRY-GREEN SMOOTHIE

MAKES ABOUT 4 CUPS

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 cup almond milk (or soy, rice or hemp milk)

1 handful spinach (or kale or karela/bitter melon)

1 banana, peeled and sliced

2 tablespoons flax seeds

1 tablespoon chia seeds

4 almonds (preferably soaked
overnight)

1 cup water (or coconut water or juice)

2 heaping cups of ice

In powerful blender, blend all ingredients except ice together until smooth.

At last minute, add ice and blend again until smooth. Serve immediately.

Leftovers can be refrigerated but tend to keep for only a day.
