Gourmands should hang out at the Corner

If you're looking for a way to kick back and relax at Taste of Chicago -- and pick up great culinary tips from some of the country's most renowned chefs -- take a load off at the Dominick's Cooking Corner. Here are highlights:

TODAY

11 a.m. -- Zagat Sweet Treat Challenge; students from Washburne Culinary Institute compete for $1,000

4 p.m. -- Emeril Lagasse; at 5 p.m. he signs copies of his latest book, Emeril at the Grill

SATURDAY

Noon -- Lucinda Scala Quinn, food director at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, host of "Everyday Food" on PBS; book signing follows

SUNDAY

1 p.m. -- Chef Jackie Shen, Red Light
