Now experiencing a difficult time with hubby Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore looked unusually slim at a Lifetime event Monday.

The ongoing silence by Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore is further fueling the rampant rumors that their marriage has collapsed.

According to various media reports, it was Kutcher’s serial cheating on his wife — 15 years his senior — that finally led Moore to throw in the towel and decide she could no longer tolerate her younger husband’s roving eye.

According to a close associate of Moore’s, the actress believes Kutcher has “sex addict issues, but he won’t agree to get help or any kind of counseling.”

Several sources also confirm Star magazine’s claim the couple have been quietly separated for a number of months, and the whole situation has upset Moore’s daughters from her 13-year marriage to Bruce Willis, which ended in 2000. Though they all have become extremely close to Kutcher over the past half-dozen years, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Willis are said to be very supportive of their mother and deeply disappointed in Kutcher’s alleged straying.

† The actor has always denied reports of a 2010 fling with 21-year-old Brittany Jones, whom he allegedly met at a L.A.-area bowling alley. The latest reported hookup — supposedly last weekend during Kutcher and Moore’s sixth anniversary — was with a woman RadarOnline has identified as Sarah Leal, who reportedly has met with an attorney already. Asked about that, a source on the set of Kutcher’s “Two and a Half Men” TV show said, “Perhaps it’s to negotiate some kind of tell-all interview.”

† Speaking of “Two and a Half Men,” I’ve heard there are mixed feelings on the set of that hit series. While some show honchos are unhappy about another potential scandal involving one of their stars (Hello! Charlie Sheen!), my best “Men” source joked, “Hell, something like this will only attract even more people to watch us on Monday nights.”

† Though Moore long has been rail thin, recent appearances show her more gaunt than usual, assumed to be the result of stress in her life.

ON A PEDESTAL: During Derrick Rose’s Murray Park event Tuesday, the Bulls star said that along with his mom and Michael Jordan, his short list of role models also includes Will Smith.

“From where he came from — a guy that started off good as ‘Fresh Prince,’ [almost] went bankrupt and still found his way back and is still making tons of money and different movies and is still a hard-working man — I take my hat off to him.

“That’s why he’s my role model. He inspires me every single day, every time I go out there and play.”

MAKIN’ MUSIC: Thanks to a tip from her good pal Larry King, Our Town’s Sugar Rautbord is heading up to S.P.A.C.E in Evanston on Thursday night to check out fast-rising international recording star Patrizio Buanne, who will be performing at 6:45 and 8:45 p.m. The sexy Italian crooner — whose new album “Patrizio” just went triple platinum in Australia, Asia and South Africa — sings both in his native tongue and English.

As a kid, Buanne sang for Pope John Paul II before a crowd of 85,000 in Rome, leading to his initial recording contract with producers who had recorded Celine Dion and Josh Groban.

Despite his good looks, Rautbord quips, “I’m just going to Evanston to meet him, so I can practice my Italian.”

Sure, Sugar … sure.

TV TALK: Congrats to my longtime Fox Chicago News colleague Mark Saxenmeyer, who begins a new job Monday, reporting for KSTP-TV, the ABC station in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Saxenmeyer, who left WFLD-Channel 32 late last year, also will continue running The Reporters Inc., a production company he launched to create documentaries and programming on subjects other media often overlook — such as the feature he’s been shooting about the Baton, Chicago’s famous female impersonation nightclub.

SIGHT SCENE: Famous Dave’s owner Dave Anderson — a guy who certainly knows a thing or two about barbecue — was spotted checking out Chicago Q, while financial whiz Mellody Hobson and her main man, filmmaking legend George Lucas, dined nearby. … Oscar and Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson was spied munching on a very heart-healthy arugula salad at Frankie’s Scaloppine at 900 N. Michigan, happily listening to music on her gold-toned headphones.

TEE TIME: Kudos to Chicagoan M.K. Zordani for winning two major golf championships in the past month. First M.K. won the Women’s Trans National Senior Amateur, followed by the top spot in the Illinois State Women’s Amateur.
