Mila Kunis awaits fallout of sexy trailer with Justin Timberlake

Updated: August 4, 2011 4:20PM

‘It’s all going to start AGAIN!” Mila Kunis reportedly has told pals after seeing the sexy new trailer for her upcoming film “Friends With Benefits.” The actress’ point? While making the movie with co-star Justin Timberlake, the rumors flew hot and heavy that the couple were having an affair — something both vehemently denied.

The stories made the already-failing relationship between Timberlake and longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel even more strained.

Now — even though Timberlake and Biel have confirmed they have finally split — Kunis is said to be worried the new trailer will start those tales all over again.

† A separate concern may be that audiences may consider “Friends With Benefits” too similar to “No Strings Attached” (starring Ashton Kutcher and Kunis’ “Black Swan” co-star and Oscar winner Natalie Portman ) — another recently released film with an identical theme: a relationship built strictly on sex, not romance.

TV TALK: Talented actor Tom Sizemore — long plagued by his addiction demons — is working hard rebuilding his career. It’s good to hear Sizemore has been tapped to co-star with Ethan Hawke in the Fox TV pilot “Exit Strategy.”

† Steppenwolf Theatre co-founder Terry Kinney has joined the cast of the proposed CBS drama,“Rookies” — playing the field training officer for young New York Police officers, fresh from the academy.

† It’s been in the works for awhile, but Fran Drescher will return to series television in the new “Happily Divorced” show on TV Land — a very autobiographical tale about a woman discovering her husband is gay and dealing with a life that includes both him (after they split) and her new boyfriend. The show will be co-produced by Drescher and ex-hubby Peter Marc Jacobson — mirroring the couple’s own experiences back when they were doing their long-running hit, “The Nanny.”

† Also have news about Kelsey Grammer directing a Conan O’Brien-produced pilot for a TV show starring Michael Chiklis. Grammer reportedly wants to do a lot of directing, but still keep acting — as he will when he arrives in Chicago soon to star in “The Boss,” playing a fictional Chicago mayor.

GILBERT GONE: According to someone who should know, Gilbert Gottfried’s inappropriate jokes tweeted about the Japanese earthquake/tsunami tragedy only escalated the end of his relationship with Aflac insurance. The company was planning on dumping his services as the voice of the “AFLAC!!!!” duck mascot at the end of his current contract anyway.

HELPING JAPAN: One “sweet” local effort to aid the victims of the Japanese catastrophe is spearheaded by the Sprinkles Cupcakes folks on East Walton. Beginning Tuesday, the bakery’s Red Cross Red Velvet cupcake will be sold — with 100 percent of proceeds going to the American Red Cross.

† Another major star is stepping up to the plate for Japan. Oscar winner Sandra Bullock has sent a $1 million donation to the Red Cross to help the victims.

SEEN ON THE SCENE: Nicole Richie and Joel Madden certainly made the rounds while in town — including stops at Japonais and Sunda. …

Nick Lachey was spied at Market Bar Friday hanging with pals while in town catching some “March Madness” games.. … Chicago Cut made the cut for Mayor Daley — plus (separately) Blackhawk Niklas Hjalmarsson and the Bulls’ Taj Gibson, also spied at Gibsons on Rush, as were Washington Wizards head coach Flip Saunders and his players, John Wallace, Jordan Crawford and Andray Blatche. Ditto for Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham — here starring as Shylock in “Merchant of Venice” at the Bank of America Theatre — who slipped into Gibsons for a quiet lunch Friday. … Vidal Sassoon checked out Chicago Q’s tasty barbeque offerings. … “Top Chef” personality Fabio Viviani dined at the new PL8 (Get it? Plate?) restaurant in Barrington, just launched by Lettuce Entertain You veteran Ed Culleeney and Shawn Li. … The Colts’ Peyton Manning and his wife Ashley celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary by attending a performance of “Million Dollar Quartet.” How appropriate! The couple were married in Memphis — where, of course, “Quartet” is set.

HEADED HERE: Chaz Bono, who entered this world as Cher and the late Sonny Bono’s daughter, Chastity, hits town May 6 as the featured speaker for the “Lifetime Celebration” benefit for Howard Brown Health Center at the Palmer House Hilton. Along with sharing his personal journey at the gala, Bono also will visit the center’s Sheridan Road clinic early in the day for a public program about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender health issues.
