Kardashian resents being dragged into Aubry’s dispute with Berry

Updated: September 24, 2012 6:25AM

There’s a new wrinkle to the ongoing Halle Berry-Gabriel Aubry child custody battle that the Oscar winner and her ex-beau are waging in the media.

I’ve learned that Kim Kardashian is both amazed and extremely unhappy that her name has been dragged into this muddy melee.

Berry reportedly told Aubry she was incensed about him exposing their daughter Nahla to Kardashian — back when the male model and the reality star supposedly were dating.

Not only has Kardashian gone out of her way to deny any link to Aubry beyond a platonic friendship, but a good friend of the TV personality says Kim is particularly bothered because she feels Berry has repeatedly snubbed her — both at red carpet and private social events in Hollywood.

† As for being around Nahla, Kardashian is said to be confused about that, “since Kim only saw the little girl once or twice. … She wouldn’t even recognize Nahla if she saw her somewhere without either Gabriel or Halle with her.”

† At this point, Kardashian thinks the whole story is “nutty,” said the source, now that she has moved on and is in a truly serious relationship with New Jersey Nets star Kris Humphries.

TOGETHER, OR NOT? For the record, Miley Cyrus is denying she’s involved romantically with her “So Undercover” co-star Joshua Bowman (who once dated Amy Winehouse, and helped her begin her recovery from drugs and booze). That said, a source who worked on the set of the movie, which recently wrapped filming, says the duo did have something going on while making “So Undercover.”

Cyrus, of course, seriously dated her last co-star — Liam Hemsworth from “The Last Song.” They split last summer.

† Speaking of romance, newly divorced Eva Longoria already is dating Penelope Cruz’s brother Eduardo Cruz, but a “Desperate Housewives” pal of Longoria’s tells me, “Eva is just having fun. As you can understand, a serious relationship is the last thing she wants or needs right now.”

† Said to be heading in that “serious” direction are Oscar-nominated Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, whom she met while they filmed “X-Men: First Class.” The couple just went public, showing up looking very lovey-dovey at the Screen Actors Guild Awards last Sunday.

WIKI-FLICK: Among the various films in the works about Julian Assange and his infamous Wikileaks website is one that Deadline.com reports would be based on the New York Times magazine cover story “The Boy Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest,” written by the paper’s executive editor, Bill Keller.

The buzz has Paul Bettany the favorite to play Assange in a number of the pending films. The actor recently revealed he regretted passing on playing George VI in “The King’s Speech” — a role that likely will win Colin Firth his first Oscar.

WILL THEY DANCE? As usual, the rumors are swirling about who might be among the celebrity competitors on the next season of “Dancing With the Stars.”

Among the names being bandied about are Mischa Barton, Vince Neil, Kendra Wilkinson and even Charlie Sheen’s estranged wife, Brooke Mueller.

However, a source told Radar Online that Mueller is concerned about the pressure of the competition, making sure “it won’t adversely effect her sobriety.”

The actual list of Season 12 star dancers will be revealed during the finale of “The Bachelor” on Feb. 28.

HEADED HERE: Martin Sheen will get a nice break from dealing with son Charlie’s problems when he hits town to narrate the 15th annual “Siamsa na nGael” (“A Celebration of the Celtic Arts”), benefitting Old St. Pat’s Church, on March 16. The musical extravaganza combines historic stories, dance and song. Sheen’s family background (Irish and Spanish) is perfect for his role in this year’s program — given the narration will explore the role the Irish played in championing liberty south of the border.

Along with the former star of “The West Wing,” the Symphony Center fete also will feature Rodrick Dixon, Catherine O’Connell and Michael Boschert, plus the Trinity Irish Dancers.

BABY BEAT: Congrats to Tom Hanks, who just became a first-time grandfather. The two-time Oscar winner’s son and fellow actor Colin Hanks and his wife, Samantha Bryant, just welcomed new daughter Olivia. Colin, 33, is the son of Hanks and his first wife, Samantha Lewes.
