“Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling said her recently-published (and slow-selling) debut detective novel, “The Cuckoo’s Calling,” was released under the Robert Galbraith pseudonym to avoid “hype or expectation.” The secret was uncovered, thanks to sleuthing by the London Sunday Times.
