Keeping up with Katy Perry’s love life is proving grist for the Hollywood gossip mill. No sooner did we hear the pop star had reignited her romance with ex-beau John Mayer, than weekend sightings of Perry looking cozy with “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson made folks think Russell Brand’s ex-wife was back to playing the field.

“I think Katy is not interested in getting serious with anyone at this point,” a longtime Perry person told me Tuesday. “She’s too busy having a good time.”

† Keeping a romance under wraps in Tinseltown is virtually impossible in this era of TMZ, Twitter and nonstop paparazzi pressure. Yet that’s exactly what Ellen Page and Alexander Skarsgard apparently have achieved.

The duo reportedly have been a couple since hooking up a year ago while making “The East,” which just opened here last week.

SPLITSVILLE: The word is “kaput” for Penn Badgley and Zoe Kravitz’s relationship. The couple — together for two years — reportedly have gone their separate ways. According to Us Weekly, the breakup wasn’t the least bit ugly, and the duo ended on “good terms.”

FUNNY FOLKS: Second City alum Cecily Strong made a big splash on “Saturday Night Live” this past season as “The Girl You Wish You Hadn’t Started a Conversation With at a Party.” Now Strong returns to the UP Comedy Club Thursday through Saturday with fellow SC alumni and “SNL” castmates Aidy Bryant and Tim Robinson.

TAKE NOTE : Just in time time for Father’s Day, popular Chicago jazz singer Paul Marinaro is releasing his long-awaited debut CD, “Without a Song.” It’s particularly nice that Paul’s 85-year-old dad, Joseph Marinaro, is flying in from Buffalo to attend the CD release party Wednesday at the Jazz Showcase.

The senior Marinaro was the inspiration for the album of such standards as “Fools Rush In” and “Because of You.” It was Joseph’s unfulfilled dream of becoming a professional singer that provided the spark for Paul achieving that dream himself.

BOOK IT! One of the fun parts for guests attending the Chicago Public Library’s Carl Sandburg Awards is hobnobbing over dinner with some of the world’s greatest literary minds — often Pulitzer Prize winners or Nobel laureates.

But this year’s Oct. 23 fete at UIC’s Forum will include young writer

Tavi Gevinson , best known for her “Style Rookie” fashion blog, who has yet to graduate from high school — joining the likes of Isabel Allende, Michael Lewis, Bill Kurtis, Christine Sneed and the other authors.

TEE TIME: More star power is being added to the Tour of Duty Celebrity Golf Classic taking place Aug. 12 at the Evanston-Wilmette Community Golf Course. “Criminal Minds” star Thomas Gibson, the Plain White T’s rockers and “Hell’s Kitchen” chef Brian Merel will be joining fellow celeb golfers Joel Murray, Mark Moses, Mike O’Malley, Tim Meadows, Finesse Mitchell, Kerry Wood, Emery Moorehead and Steve McMichael.

SEEN ON THE SCENE: “The Book of Mormon” stars Nic Rouleau and Ben Platt had a great time performing the seventh inning stretch at Wrigley Field during the Cubs-Cincinnati game Monday night. … While here to face the Sox, Emilio Bonifacio, the Toronto Blue Jays’ second baseman, was spied lunching Tuesday at Harry Caray’s on Kinzie.
