There’s word of more tension between Paris Jackson, her grandmother Katherine Jackson and a number of her late father Michael Jackson’s siblings — mostly due to Paris’ increasing skepticism about her grandma’s strict adherence to the Jehovah’s Witness faith.

As Radar Online reports, Paris has stopped obliging Katherine’s wish that she and brother Prince Michael raise money for the group door to door. The king of pop’s daughter, now 16, clearly wants to carve out her own path in life.

“Paris is a very strong young woman, with her own ideas about a lot of things that differ greatly from her grandmother’s philosophy,” a longtime Jackson family insider said Sunday. “She is definitely going to march to her own drummer as she goes forward. … A good example is Paris’ strong desire to build a good, close relationship with [her biological mother]

Debbie Rowe.”

Meanwhile an old story about Michael’s friend Mark Lester’s claims he’s the biological father of the superstar’s children was given new life in an interview the former “Oliver!” child star gave to London’s Daily Mirror. Along with saying he’s willing to take a DNA test to prove his claims, Lester, now 51, said he has not been allowed to see the Jackson children since Michael’s death. In a 2009 interview, Lester claimed he gave Jackson his semen after Jacko requested his “help,” citing fertility issues.

DOWN THE AISLE: There were two very different celebrity weddings this weekend as Oscar nominee Keira Knightley tied the knot with fiancé James Righton at an intimate ceremony at the town hall in Mazan, France — while across the pond (and truly a world apart) Honey Boo Boo’s mom, “Mama June” Shannon, married the little TLC reality star’s dad, Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson.

According to the invitation, obtained by TMZ, guests at the Shannon-Thompson nuptials were encouraged to come in redneck attire but also received firm instructions: “No cellphones, cameras or outside video taping will be allowed, since it will be a taped event,” clearly for Honey Boo Boo’s show.

STAR SPINNER: There will be a lot of excitement at SUB 51 as Mariah Carey’s hubby, Nick Cannon, will be the guest DJ for the club’s weekly SUBstance Tuesday event, from 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

HISTORIC NOTE: Shortly after Tony Bennett’s Aug. 22 concert at Ravinia, the music legend hopes to be among the headliners at a special 50th anniversary celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.’s march on Washington. That happened Aug. 28, 1963, and as reports, Bennett hopes to pull together a group of A-listers on D.C.’s Mall this Aug. 28 as part of his “Voices Against Violence” campaign. Among possible performers are Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder and Sam Moore.

SEEN ON THE SCENE: T heo James, Miles Teller and Christian Madsen — here filming “Divergent” — took a break to catch one of the Bulls-Nets playoff games. … Considering the Cincinnati Bengals’ Pro-Bowler Andrew Whitworth checks in at 6-foot-7-inches and at 330 pounds, he’s hard to miss. So it’s no surprise a group of Cincinnati fans in town for the Reds-Cubs series quickly spotted him Saturday dining at Harry Caray’s on Kinzie. … Meanwhile, the Bears’ J’Marcus Webb, Edwin Williams, James Brown and Cory Brandon were out dining at Harry Caray’s in Rosemont.
