Cedric the Entertainer to host ‘Millionaire’

The rumor is true. Comedian and actor Cedric the Entertainer was officially named host of “Who Wants to Be a Millioinaire?” — replacing Meredith Vieira, who launched the daytime version of the show in 2002. Cedric will join the program for its 12th season this fall. — B.Z.
