Swiss actor Bruno Ganz will portray a fictional pope in “The Vatican,” a new Showtime drama pilot. Ganz played Adolf Hitler in “Downfall,” and his fiery diatribe in the movie is seen in many YouTube spoofs — re-edited with different subtitles poking fun at all kinds of news events. — B.Z.
