As Jennifer Aniston nears the end of shooting her Elmore Leonard film, the anticipation grows about when and where the actress and fellow actor Justin Theroux will tie the knot.
Celebrity magazines from all around the globe have beefed up their staffs focused on Aniston’s upcoming nuptials and are pouring enormous amounts of money into ferreting out any and all details regarding the super-secret plans.
Aniston is well-known for not only keeping secrets, but also surrounding herself with an extremely loyal and well-paid staff who are equally tight-lipped.
On top of all that, the actress’ tight circle of intimate friends rarely leak news about her, of even the most non-threatening nature.
However, in checking with a few people who are fairly close to Aniston, I have learned the wedding is likely to happen by the end of March and will be very small. “I’m hearing that it will truly be only a handful of Jen’s real inner circle and just a couple of family members,” a longtime professional Aniston associate told me Wednesday afternoon. “I’m also hearing — and it’s no big surprise — that Justin’s younger brother, Sebastian, will be his best man.
“By the way, he’s as handsome — if not more so — as Justin himself,’’ added the source with a big laugh.
As for the location, two sources I spoke to Wednesday pointed to Aniston’s favorite vacation spot of Cabo San Lucas at the tip of the Baja California peninsula in Mexico. “Or possibly in Hawaii, where she loves to vacation as well,” said one speculating source who knows Aniston well.
“Given the time of year, I’m guessing they both will want to marry someplace that is warm and near or on a beach.”
CAVALLARI CURVE: Speaking of weddings, sounds like former TV reality star Kristin Cavallari got pretty cagey when she listed July 13 as her wedding date while registering for gifts for her upcoming marriage with Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.
In an interview with E! Entertainment’s Giuliana Rancic — herself a part-time Chicagoan — Cavallari quipped, “I knew the registry would get out, so why would I put the actual date?”
Whenever it does take place, the couple are reportedly planning on a celebration with about 150 family members and friends.
MOVING ON: As Aniston and Cavallari plan their weddings, a long-estranged couple apparently are close to finalizing their divorce. According to various reports and my own sources, Demi Moore has finally got to the point where she is ready to officially end her marriage to Ashton Kutcher. While I hear the negotiations over financial details have been intense and often contentious over the past month, it does seem the couple are close to a final agreement.
“Most important, after not being ready to face facts — that Ashton was gone forever — Demi now has accepted it all and is moving on with her life,” said a veteran Hollywood producer who knows Moore very well.
PROBLEMS HERE? Even though reps for both Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth firmly deny the engaged couple are in trouble, the new Life & Style cover story — focusing on an alleged heavy flirtation (plus a bit more) between Hemsworth and “Mad Men” actress January Jones at a pre-Oscar party — can only add fuel to the various “roving eye” stories flying around Hollywood about the Aussie actor.
