Wille Geist gets new gig

MSNBC’s Willie Geist joins the 9 a.m. hour of NBC’s “Today” show Nov. 12 — succeeding previous 9 a.m. host Savannah Guthrie, who replaced Ann Curry on “Today’s” 7 to 9 a.m. show this summer. Geist will continue on “Morning Joe” but will stop anchoring “Way Too Earlier.” — B.Z.
