For the first time in 16 years, Barbra Streisand will direct a film. The Oscar winner will make “Skinny & Cat,” starring Colin Firth and Cate Blanchett as writer Erskine Caldwell and photojournalist Margaret Bourke-White, focusing on their three-year marriage in the late 1930’s. — B.Z.
