Chicago native wins Student Academy Award

Chicago native Keiko Wright was presented Saturday with a 2012 Student Academy Award gold medal by Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr. It was for her film “Hiro, A Story of Japanese Internment.” Past student winners have included Spike Lee, Robert Zemeckis and Trey Parker.
